2 Installation

2.6

Power bar connection up to 24kv

For switchboards up to 24 kV the bars are provided with silicon hoods and connected in the

following way:

1. Remove two roof panels (C and D Fig. 21)

2. Put silicon grease on the internal surface of the silicon hood (see Fig. 23).

3. Tighten the bars to the poles of switches using dynamometric key (35Nm) and screws of the

insulating material M16 + belleville washer (Fig. 22) provided with the modules.

4. See the drawing in Fig. 26 to connect everything correctly

5. Earth connection between the modules is carried out by connecting the points E to each other

by the means of cupper bar which is supplied among the other module accessories.
