4 Operations on switch disconnector

4.3

Use of 3D operating mechanism

This operating mechanism is energy stored. In order to carry out the operation 2 described after-

wards, it is necessary to charge the springs in advance. See the indicator F (Fig. 50) on the following

page to know the status of the springs:

- yellow colour = charged springs (A)

- white colour = discharged springs (B)

To charge the springs, insert the operating handle in A (Fig. 50) and turn it clockwise 180°. When

the indicator F changes from white to yellow, withdraw the operation handle from A. To carry

out the operations 1, 3 and 4 it is not necessary to charge the springs in advance. The operating

mechanism has three positions : CLOSED (1), OPEN (0), EARTH ( ).
