3 Operation sequences and access inside modules

3.2

Operation sequences for DS1, DSS, DL, DLM, DS modules

Before executing any operation for putting into service or for module access it is necessary

to respect the current safety standards for electrical work.

OPERATIONS

1. Identify the type of operating mechanism.

2. For putting into service or putting out of service it is necessary to see the operating mechanism

instructions on page 64-67.

3. In order to close the door of the module, the switch must be in earth closed position.

The door has to be inserted as in Fig. 37 by paying attention in inserting correctly the leaf A in

the related cleft of the door and the leafs fixed on the door in the holes of the structure as in

Fig. 38. Once the door has been inserted the door has to be pushed downwards and the clefts

have to be as in Fig. 39.

4. In order to open the door of the module, the switch must be in earth closed position and

therefore the operations described in point 3 have to be carried out but in the reverse

sequence.
