1. Connectors unplugged

Unplug LH harness on top of steering colu

m

n.

Cut locking ties retaining brake light switch/heat-
ing grip harness to handlebar.

Using the

m

ultilock-ter

m

inal housing extraction

tool AMP (P/N 7

55

430-2), push the 3 wires of the

heating grip harness out of connector housing.
Note the position of the wires for reinstallation.

Pull heating grip wires out of brake light switch/
heating grip harness.

Insert the open side of a 23

with isopropyl alcohol. Let dry before installation.

with windshield bracket. See next photo.

Use the appropriate insertion tool to properly in-
stall grip.
