Registering a Function

You can program up to 10 frequently used functions with built-in and/or downloadable symbols, images, label
designs and databases.
This feature allows you to recall any function by pressing the
PF (Programmable Function)
key.

Registering a New Function

Select [
Register Programmable Function
] in the Home screen using the , ,
or
key, and
then press the
OK
or
Enter
key.

Select [

] (not registered) using the or key, and then press the
OK
or
Enter
key.

Select the item category (symbol, transferred symbol, database, transferred template, or file) that you
want to register using the or key, and then press the
OK
or
Enter
key.
d
Select the item that you want to register, and then press the
OK
or
Enter
key.
e
Enter the function name, and then press the
OK
or
Enter
key to register this function.
The function registration is completed.
Note
• The registered function name can be changed later.
• You can register up to 10 functions. If 10 functions are already registered, you must delete one of the
functions before registering a new function.
• If you recall a registered function and make changes to it, the revised function cannot be registered by
overwriting the previous function. The revised function must be registered as a new function. Delete any
unnecessary functions.
Recalling and Using a Registered Function

Press the
PF (Programmable Function)
key while the Home, label creation screens are displayed.

Select a function using the or key, and then press the
OK

key.

• You can also recall a function by typing the function number using the number keys.
• You can also recall a function by selecting [
Register Programmable Function
] in the Home screen.
