2.

UNPACKING

WARNING

•

The package containing a printer weighs approximately 35kg, so it is too heavy for
one person to carry. It needs two adults to move the printer. Since the printer is a
precision machine, make sure that it is carried slowly with care so that no impact
occurs to the printer while moving it.

•

Do not attempt to lift a printer when it is covered by the vinyl bag because it is
slippery and may result in damage and injury if dropped.

2.1

Unpacking the Printer

Refer to Fig.3-2 on the next page.
1)  Carefully cut the (2) tape and open the (1) carton
2)  Remove the (B) starter kit and (4) power code tray.
3)  Open the (3) starter cushion, and remove the (5) OPC belt cartridge from the box.
4)  Lift and remove (6) Upper cushion (two pieces).
5)  Lift up the Laser printer (A) and put it in the setting location. (This work needs more

than 2 persons due to heavy mass of printer engine.)

6)  Open up (7) Polyethylene Bag wrapping the printer engine.
7)  Remove (8) /(9) /(10)/(11) Shipping Tape (4 locations).
8)  Remove the (12) front cushion.
