Router modules

This section describes management modules, interface modules, and switch fabric modules.

Management modules

Brocade MLXe routers support the following management modules types.

•

MR management module

•

MR2 management module

lists the management modules available for Brocade MLXe routers.

The management module controls the hardware components, runs the networking protocols, and
provides the Real Time Operating System (RTOS).
