18 POSSIBLE PROBLEMS AND THEIR SOLUTIONS
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
• The machine doesn’t start and
the display is off.
• The main switch is set to OFF position.
• Faulty display PCB.
• Faulty power PCB.
• Faulty power supplier.
• The machine is not connected to the main
power supply.
• Connect the machine to the main ower
supply.
• Set the main switch, located under the
machine, left side, to ON position.
• Replace the display circuit board.
• Check that the connector is correctly
connected to the power supply circuit board
(M12).
• Check that the connectors to the electronic
components are correctly connected.
• The mixer is not turning.
• Open tap Icon on the display.
• Tap Assembly not properly installed.
• Missing magnet on the tap assembly.
• Faulty tap assembly sensor. • Verify that the tap assembly is properly
installed.
• Verify that the fixing knobs are well
tightened.
• Verify that the magnet is present on the back
of the tap assembly.
• Replace the tap assembly sensor.
• Message “AL01” on the display:
product temperature alarm.
• Product temperature alarm. • Check that the product has not become
defective.
• Check the refrigeration system of the
product reservoir.
• Message “AL02” on the display:
faulty product reservoir tempera-
ture probe
• Faulty product reservoir temperature probe. • Replace the faulty probe .
• Message “AL03” on the display:
faulty freezing cylinder
• Faulty freezing cylinder temperature probe. • Replace the faulty probe.
• Message “AL04” on the display:
faulty condenser temperature
probe
• Faulty condenser temperature probe. • Replace the faulty probe.
• Message “AL05” on the display:
transmission error
• Circuit board transmission error. • Check that the connectors to the electronic
components are correctly connected.
• If th e p r ob le m pe rsists, rep la c e the
electronic circuit boards.
• The mixer is not turning
• Message “AL06” on the display:
Software protection intervention
• Software protection intervention due to
excessive absorption in the gear motor. • If the mixer has stopped, wait for it to start
up again. The density adjustment will be
automatically reduced by one unit.
• The mixer is not turning Message
“AL0 7” on the display: Hall sen-
sors error • Gear motor synchronism signal error (Hall
sensors). • Check that the M5 connector is properly
connected to the electronic power board.
• If the problem persists, replace the geared
motor.
• If the problem persists, replace power
electronic power board.
• Message “AL08” on the display:
low power supply
• The power supply is too low to guarantee
the proper working of the machine. • Verify that no extension cables are used to
connect the device to the mains.
• The mixer is not turning Message
“AL06” on the display: Software
protection intervention • No 36V power supply. • Check that the M12 connector is properly
connected to the electronic power board.
• If necessary replace the 36V power supply.
• Product leaks from the tap as-
sembly
• Tap assembly not properly installed.
• Tap assembly gasket damaged or not
properly installed.
• Tap piston gasket damaged or not properly
installed.
• Tap handle not completely closed . • Verify that the tap assembly is properly
installed.
• Verify that the fixing knobs are well
tightened.
• Replace the tap assembly gasket.
• Replace the tap piston gasket.
• Check the tap spring and replace it if
necessary.
• The machine is cooling but is not
producing ice cream • Conservation Mode is selected instead of
Ice Cream Production Mode.
• Condenser filter is clogged and dirty.
• I n s u f f i c i e n t v e n t i l a t i o n t h r o u g h t h e
condenser around the machine.
• Product has not been correctly prepared
Gas low in the refrigerator circuit. • Select Ice Cream Production Mode
Clean the condenser filter
• Check that there is sufficient free space.
• Prepare the product in accordance with the
manufacturer’s instructions.
• Check for the presence of a gas leak. Once
identified, seal the leak and recharge the gas.
