7 Detecting and correcting faults



Set the power for the activated output.

Connection socket activated via finger
and foot switches
At the end of activation a different
activation signal is pending for the
same socket



Activate the output via the finger or
foot switch one after the other.

Tissue contact is already pending
upon activation of the AUTOSTART
mode



Remove the instrument from the
tissue and re-activate AUTOSTART.

Papillotome or snare is not applied



Apply the papillotome or the snare.

Instrument for GastroCut application
defective or short circuit



Replace the Gastro instrument.



Select a new point of application.

Excessive low-resistance activation
(e.g. in saline)



Ensure that the instrument has
sufficient contact with the tissue for
coagulation or cutting before
activating the device.
