5.2.4.11 ”E/A DISK 2R” and ”E/A DISK 4R“ I/O modules
Features:

Function:
• Coupling of discrete I/O signals.
The I/O modules EA DISK R2ED and EA DISK R4ED are identical
except for the connector designations (EA DISK R2ED: X1x; EA
DISK R4ED: X2x) and an internal coding.
If both are used in a WT, the I/O signals used are permanently cou­
pled to the respective module. That is why all I/O signals always ap­
pear at the same I/O module even after exchanging the slots of both
modules.
