" Please note the following prescriptions in the context of electrical
connection:
• Operation of the inverter is only intended for use in buildings/
property with an operating current greater than/equal to 100A for
each phase.
• Operation of the inverter at asymmetrical systems (one system
phase grounded) is not admissible.
• The mains system must be appropriately fused.
• The operation in systems with normal ELCBs is not permitted
because residual currents from the DC link may flow back into the
system via earthing without activating the ELCB.
• If you use residual current protective equipment, it must be suita­
ble for being operated in conjunction with medium-frequency sys­
tems with a DC link and a frequency of 1000 Hz!
Check the applicable manufacturer data!
Comply with all applicable regulations!
• Make sure that the mains voltage is within the permitted range.
For information on inverter-specific range, refer to Section 15
from page 429 and the nameplate of the respective inverter.
The positions of the connections are indicated in Section 7.1.1 from
page 342.
" Connect the PE connector at the inverter to a suitable grounding
point.
In connection with the PE conductor connection, also observe the
information and specifications in the manual ”MF welding trans­
formers, Instructions” (refer to page 233).
" Connect terminal U1 at the inverter to system phase L1.
" Connect terminal V1 at the inverter to system phase L2.
" Connect terminal W1 at the inverter to system phase L3.
