3 General information on damage to property and
products
The present section includes information which is important for protec­
tion against damage to property and products.
3.1 Transport and storage
NOTICE
Improper handling of devices with water cooling
Leakage in the cooling circuit possible!

Make sure that the water connections and hose bridges (hose
bridge
: refer to fig. 63: page 358) are never pressed or squeezed
when lifting the device from the transport packaging or during
transport.

Never pull the hose bridge.
Frost, corrosion
Possibility of leak in the heat sink, contamination of the cooling
agent!
" Make sure that the cooling system is fully drained prior to storage.
" Please note the maximum storage temperature range of all
components (refer to information provided in the technical data).
Defective or spent batteries
Possibility of damage due to defective (leaked) batteries and loss
of information stored in the RAM!
" Make sure that a backup of important timer data is made prior to its
storage.
The data in the RAM will be lost when the buffer battery is spent.
" For storage of the product (> 2 years), please remove the battery
provided as RAM buffer.
