3. At the operating station "Remote Engineering" can be disabled again if no
further access of the configuration station (project planning station) is re‐
quired.
Enable and Disable "Remote Engineering"
Enabling
The project planning in remote engineering at an IndraWorks operating station
must be able to be enabled and disabled explicitly.
The enabling is set with "Remote Engineering Configuration". The application
can be started via the start menu: Start ▶ Programs ▶ Rexroth ▶ IndraWorks
▶ Configuration of remote engineering:

To change the Remote Engineering configuration, the EWF has to
be disabled, see chapter 9.3.2 "EWF (Enhanced Write Filter)" on
page 116 .
The dialog box of the "Remote Engineering Configuration" application displays
the current enabling status after booting, (see 9-44 : not enabled).

When the "Enable Remote Egineering" is selected, the enabling directory for
IndraWorks projects can be defined either by an input box or by a folder selec‐
tion dialog, see 9-45 . Then configuration stations (project planning stations) can
access IndraWorks projects in this directory.
