Device Connection With the "Device Connection" options connection settings can be defined. The
TCP/IP connections or the serial interface can be selected. Infrared is not pos‐
sible. If a serial connection was selected, the baudrate and the use of the
"RTS" and "CTS" signals can be configured via the Advanced button.
Run CEView on startup Use the Run CEView on startup option to set whether the CEView program
shall be automatically started while starting the system.
License Use the License button to license the product or to modify the license.
Users Start the security system with the Users button of the user management.
If the WinStudio Runtime modules were downloaded and all set‐
tings are made, the device has to be rebooted (by switching on and
switching off the voltage supply).
A new licensing procedure is used for WinStudio version 7.x and
higher versions. The licensing is not done anymore in the Remote
Agent, but in a separate tool that can be called via the start menu.

9.3 Commissioning with Windows XP Embedded
9.3.1 Installation
General Information
The following sections describe how to install IndraMotion MTX operation.
Administrator rights are required for system settings of the operat‐
ing system and for the installation of the user interface. A possibly
existing writing protection chapter 9.3.2 "EWF (Enhanced Write
Filter)" on page 116 is to be disabled by the Enhanced Write Filter
(EWF).
