Click Calibrate on the left side and touch exactly each of the five calibration
points with a touch pen. Then confirm the calibration with OK.
Switching-over from "left mouse button" to "right mouse button" is done in Win‐
dows XP Embedded operating system by activating the mouse icon in the
taskbar, see the following figure. Switching-over the mouse button applies only
for the following "click" on the touch screen.

Text input via virtual keyboard
To enter texts a virtual keyboard can be used, which is operated via the touch
screen. In order to call this keyboad manually, click on Start ▶ Pro‐
grams ▶ Accessories ▶ Accessibility ▶ On-Screen Keyboard or use the link in
the quick start bar, see

Configuration of Remote Engineering
General Information
Generally, via the IndraControl VEP **.4 device a running machine or a plant
is operated and monitored (in the following sections this plant or machine is
designated as "operating station"). To do so, the IndraWorks user interface is
started. IndraWorks gets the project planning data from an IndraWorks project
of the operating station. This project is processed and modified with the
IndraWorks project planning user interface.
"Remote Engineering" allows to use the project planning user interface on a
separate computer, connected to the operating station via a network.
For working in the "remote engineering mode" the required steps are:
1. At the operating station:
Enable "Remote Engineering".
2. At the project planning station:
1. Connect to operating station
2. Open and edit a project on the operating station
3. Save the project
4. Disconnect from operating station
