Uninstalling IndraWorks Operation
The uninstallation of Rexroth IndraWorks is performed via the operating sys‐
tem. The following menu provides the program for the uninstallation:
Start ▶ Settings ▶ Control Panel ▶ Add or Remove Programs). Select
"IndraWorks" as program to be removed. After uninstalling you are asked if all
data should be moved from the installation folder to the recycle bin.
Loss of user data due to missing data backup!
NOTICE
Save all user data before uninstalling the software, if you want to access this
data later.
9.3.2 EWF (Enhanced Write Filter)
General Information
The system partition C:\ can be protected from write access by the Enhanced
Write Filter (EWF), which is integrated in Windows XP Embedded. The data to
be written is lead into the working memory. After a reboot the system is reset
to the defined basic state. A further advantage of the EWF is the reduced num‐
ber of write accesses to the Compact Flash card, which increases the service
life of the card. Therefore the EWF should be always enabled; however, the
EWF must not be enabled during installation and operating system settings!
Enable/disable the EWF via EWF Control.

Call the EWF Control via the start menu: Start ▶ Programs ▶ Accessories
▶ EWFCtrl
