Concept
Speed Limit Info shows the current maximum
permitted speed in the instrument cluster.
General information
The camera in the area of the interior mirror
detects traffic signs at the edge of the road as
well as variable overhead sign posts.
Traffic signs with extra symbols, for instance
for nighttime conditions, are considered and
compared with the vehicle's onboard data,
such as for the set time. The traffic sign will
then be either displayed or ignored depending
on the situation.
The system takes into account the information
stored in the navigation system and also dis‐
plays speed limits present on routes without
signs.

WARNING
The system does not release from the
personal responsibility to correctly assess visi‐
bility and traffic situation. There is a risk of an
accident. Adjust the driving style to the traffic
conditions. Watch traffic closely and actively
intervene in the respective situations.◀

Camera
The camera is installed near the interior mirror.
Keep the windshield in front of the interior mir‐
ror clean and clear.
Display
General information
Speed Limit Info is displayed in the instrument
cluster and, if applicable, in the Head-up Dis‐
play.
Adjusting the display
The Speed Limit Info displays are shown or
hidden via the operating mode of the instru‐
ment cluster.
The Speed Limit Info is displayed in the follow‐
ing operating modes: "STANDARD" or
"INDIVIDUAL"
Speed Limit Info is not displayed in the follow‐
ing operating mode: "REDUCED"
