Mayor channel number and minor channel numbers are used in the
ATSC DVB-C Annex B ITU-J
standard
and should be ignored by the ‘normal DVB Annex A/C’ receivers. Same for the ‘General’ item VCT:
LCN’s in the NIT and other values should be set after all content and all muxes/QAM channels have been
already configured.
