Electrical panel IO-module HMI and keyboard
Operating the M172 HMI
The operation of the electrical panel IO-module, that consists of a Schneider M172 PLC is done by use of the
HMI and the 5 buttons (“up”, “down”, “right”, “left” and “OK”) to the right of it. The main screen shows the
main menu and gives access to view the different input and output signals (IOs) or changing the settings
(login required). Get back to the main menu, from any other screen, by pressing the “left” key until the main
menu is shown.
View I/O’s
Select “IOs” on the main menu and then select one of the four types of input or output to be shown. Use the
“up/down” keys to go through the pages.
Change Settings
Access to the settings part of the module is protected by a password. Contact BITZER Industrial
Refrigeration for more information. See also section 9.6 and 13.5 about configuration and settings on this
module. Select “Settings” on the main menu and the Password screen will show. First press “OK”, to activate
the entry of the password. Use the “left/right” keys to select a digit and the “up/down” keys to change a digit.
After entering the password, confirm by pressing “OK”.
