Optimizing Performance

Do’s and Don’ts of ELS Detection

CAUTION

Decreased performance
High pressures on the internal chamber will lead to increased

baseline noise and low sensitivity.



NEVER block the exhaust outlet.



NEVER allow the solvent waste outlet tube to become immersed

in the waste solvent.



Only use volatile mobile phase additives.
