Identify by Calling Number

=This determines whether this partner

should be identified using the Calling Party’s Number in ISDN. Note,
if turned off, the partner must be identified using either PAP or CHAP
authentication protocols.

The following three settings only apply if PPP (or X.25_PPP) encapsula-
tion is being used.

PPP Authentication Protocol

ticated at connection time. If calling line identification is not used, at
least one authentication mechanism must be used.
