The computer responds with:
<ACK> if the string has been correctly transmitted;
<NAK> if the string has not been correctly transmitted; in the latter case, the
terminal will repeat transmission of the data package. After three negative
responses or no response at all, the terminal displays an error message.
Characters other than <ACK> and <NAK> are interpreted as <NAK>.
WARNING
The ACK/NAK protocol is automatically enabled in MPP operating mode.
10.4.2 Request weighing via serial command and transmit
data at end of operation
After loading a weight on the weighing platform, send the memorisation
command via the computer:
MP<CR>
In the event of an affirmative response, depending on the item selected in the
Setup Menu (Standard, Terminal Number, Serial Number), the terminal
transmits one of the strings described above in the same manner.
10.4.3 Request weighing with key and transmit via serial
command
After loading a weight on the platform, wait for the stable weight indication to
appear and press ; the terminal will memorise data.
The computer may request weight data from the terminal by means of the
following command:
MP<CR>
The weighing terminal responds
with one of the strings described above;
NP<CR><LF>
if no weight has been memorised;
Data can be requested several times by means of the MP<CR> command.
At the end of the operation, the computer must send the command to enable
the terminal for a new weighing operation:
MC<CR>
