OPERATION MANUAL
10. As soon as the threading board is almost all the way through
the laminator push approx. 2 cm of the picture under the
threading board.
ATTENTION: Make sure that you leave enough print cut
edge when printing the picture!
11. Allow the threading board to continue to carry the film through
the rollers. As soon as the threading board is out the back of
the laminator lower the top roller (6) and adjust the pressure
according to the thickness of the picture (see p.12).
ADVICE: At the beginning it is very important to feed
the picture
in correctly, it must be parallel to the rollers.
For this reason do not feed in the picture directly after
the threading board but start with an envelope made of
silicone release paper (approx. 10 cm deep and at least
as wide as the laminating film) with the silicone coating
facing inwards. Run the envelope between the rollers
until only 2-3 cm of the envelope remain visible. Push the
picture in the envelope and adjust it. The advantage of
this procedure is that the picture does not stick to the
lamination film, this makes it possible to adjust it
correctly!
Advice for the laminating of
long pictures
When laminating pictures longer than 1 m it is recommended to
work as follows:
1. Wind up the picture on an empty core.
2. Load the core onto the bottom supply shaft (13).
ATTENTION: When fixing the cones take care that the core
has play to the right and left side!
3. Insert the picture underneath the switching axis (9) and run the
picture through the rollers.
This kind of handling makes it possible that the picture is pressed
earlier and stronger against the bottom roller which avoids the
occurrence of a “wave” in the middle of the picture.
