Using the pneumatic files
Warning!
Before any installations/ maintenance
work of the machine the compressed
air supply must be decoupled!
The restraining strap protects the tool holder and drive
piston against damage. During sawing work it must
always be fitted to enable work to proceed safely.
The restraining strap GHB is used to set defined
cutting depths when sawing and prevents vibration of
the material to be worked. It is secured with the fixing
screws FS (see Fig. 3) on both sides. To adjust the
back-support GHB, release the fixing screws FS with
a 2mm Allen key (FR8-12
PLUS
) and a 3mm Allen key
(PLF-88; FLV 8-12 (F)).

Tool changing
Warning!
Always isolate the machine from the
compressed
air
network
before
changing the tool!
Do not leave a tool spanner in
position! Before starting work, make
sure that all the spanners have been
removed.
Important!
Do not fit tools weighing more than
70g!
Caution!
Never switch the compressed air file
on with the tool holder detached and
without a tool in place!
Caution!
The tightening torque of the saw
blades and files must fall within the
2-2.5Nm range! For files weighing
more than 50g, the correct torque
value is 2.5-3 Nm!
Use only well-fitting and undamaged tools for tool
changing. Otherwise the cylinder head screws may be
damaged.
Ensure when fitting that screw is aligned parallel to
the running surface of tool holder (see Fig. 4).
Lubricate tool holder guide and piston rod with a few
drops of spindel oil.

Stroke adjustment
Warning!
When adjusting the stroke, the
compressed air file which is switched
on must be held away from the body!
