MANUAL DEFIBRILLATION PROBLEMS
SYMPTOM POSSIBLE CAUSE POSSIBLE SOLUTION
When manual Defibrillator mode
is selected, the message
“
ACCESS DENIED ” appears on
the screen.
The REANIBEX 300 is
configured not to allow use in the
Manual Defibrillator mode. • Access the Configuration mode
and change the access options
to the Manual Defibrillator mode
(See Section
7.2 Configurable
Parameters ).
The screen displays the
message “
NO SHOCK
DELIVERED ”.
The shock button has not been
pressed within 60 seconds after
the charge. • Deliver the shock to the patient
within less than 60 seconds.
The synchronism option is
deactivated before the shock. • Maintain the synchronism until
the shock is delivered.
The screen displays the
message “
CHECK
ELECTRODE ”.
The connection between the
disposable multifunction
electrode pads and the patient is
not good. • Connect the disposable
multifunction electrodes properly
to the patient.
The screen displays the
message “PRESS CHARGE”.
The shock button on the user
interface has been pressed
without previously charging the
energy.
• Before delivering the shock,
press the programmable button
to perform the
charge.
The screen displays the
message “DISARMING”.
The programmable button
has been
pressed.
• Press the programmable
button again if
necessary.
The operating mode has
changed. • Return to the Manual
Defibrillator operating mode or
do not take any action if no
change in operating mode is
required.
The SHOCK button is pressed
during energy charge. • Before delivering the shock,
make sure that the energy
charge is complete.
The disposable electrodes have
been disconnected from the
equipment or from the patient
during energy charge or once the
charge is completed.
• Connect the electrodes to the
equipment and/or the patient
and press the programmable
button again if
necessary.
When an energy level is
selected, the message
“
DEFIBRILLATOR MODE
ERROR ” appears on the screen.
An error has been detected in
the defibrillation module. • Contact the Authorised
Technical Service
