ready to deliver the shock. The shock button lights up, the equipment emits a warning sound
and displays the following message “
PRESS BUTTON TO SHOCK
”.
Before delivering the shock, make sure that nobody touches the patient, the bed or the
equipment and that nothing is connected to the patient.
To deliver the shock, press the shock button
on the front panel.
After the shock has been delivered, the shock indicator at the top of the display
will increase
its value.
If the shock is not delivered in less than 15 seconds, the energy will discharge internally in the
equipment, the equipment will display the message: “
SHOCK NOT DELIVERED
” and the value in
the shock indicator at the top of the display will not increase.
Depending on the configuration of the equipment (number of consecutive shocks), a new analysis
cycle will start after the REANIBEX 300 delivers the shock. This will occur until the number of
shocks established in the “Consecutive Shocks” parameter is performed. However, if the number
of consecutive shocks has been set to 1, the equipment will enter into CPR time.
WARNING
The REANIBEX 300 does not deliver the shock automatically. The user must press the shock button on
the user interface to deliver the shock to the patient.
