10 MAINTENANCE
BATTERY CAPACITY

A new, fully charged LiSO

battery working at 25ºC provides approximately 270 shocks at 360 Joules and
approximately 240 minutes of ECG monitoring.
Rechargeable Li-ion
A new, fully charged Li-ion battery working at 25ºC provides approximately 200 shocks at 360 Joules and
approximately 340 minutes of ECG monitoring.

A brand new battery has a service life of 5 years if stored at the adequate temperature. Proper battery
maintenance should include the following actions:

Do not expose the batteries to high temperatures over 50ºC for long periods of time.

Do not attempt to recharge the battery.
x
Do not allow electrical contact between the battery terminals.
Rechargeable Li-ion
Battery life depends on how the battery is used and how frequently it is used. When used and maintained
correctly, the useful life of the battery is 2 years or 500 charge/discharge cycles. To optimise battery
performance, discharge the battery completely or almost completely whenever possible.
While it is in operation and when it is switched off (during Auto Tests), the REANIBEX 300 checks battery
capacity and provides the corresponding information (in the status indicator and on the screen, when the
equipment is switched on) if the battery is low.
CHARGING THE Li-ion BATTERIES
When the low battery warning appears, the battery must be charged. To do so, switch off the equipment,
remove the battery and charge it with an external charger.
Battery charging time at 25ºC is approximately 2 hours.

SERVICE AND REPAIR
OSATU S. Coop. shall only be held liable for aspects concerning the safety of the REANIBEX 300 if the
maintenance, repairs and subsequent modifications have been carried out by our technical personnel or
by companies with our authorisation and in cases of equipments where components that affected the
safety of the equipment have been replaced with original spare parts.
The company reserves the right to perform modifications without prior notice.
