8 CONFIGURATION
USER INTERFACE
The parameters that appear in this menu option are used to configure the appearance of the equipment
interface presented to the user.

The parameters that can be changed inside this menu are as follows:
PARAMETER DESCRIPTION OPTIONS
Language This establishes the language used for screen text
messages and voice prompts. The user can choose from
6 different languages.
ECG colour This establishes the colour used for heart rate and
the ECG signal. Red, (Green), Magenta,
Yellow, Cyan, Purple,
Orange, Dark Green
Audio volume This establishes the predetermined volume of the
voice prompts from the equipment and the alarm
volume. From level 1 to level 8
(level 4)
Keypad sound This establishes the predetermined volume
emitted when a button is pressed. From level 0 to level 8
(level 4)
NOTE: The 0 setting
indicates that no sound will
be emitted when a button
is pressed.
WARNING
When adjusting the audio volume in configuration mode, consider the level of ambient noise in which it
is expected to use the equipment. The value of fixed volume in configuration mode determines the
minimum level which the user can select during a performance.
8.3
SETTING DATE AND TIME
This menu option is used to set the clock to real time and date and to choose the time format (24 hours /
12 hours).
The equipment clock is used as the reference for the events that occur during an episode. In other words,
each episode will have two interrelated reference times: one will use the real time clock as reference and
the other will use the moment the equipment was switched on.
