Commissioning

Prior to first use, the VK701 adapter must be zero balanced. Connect the VK701 measuring
cables to bushes [B] and [C] and plug the VK701 into the UNIMET® 1100ST socket connector.
Bushes 1 and 10 are not used. Then connect the VK701 plug and coupler. Start zero
balancing (See “Test probe, VK701” on page 43).

8.6 TP1010 for tests to IEC 61010-1:2001-02

For tests in accordance with standard IEC 61010-1:2001-02, UNIMET® 1100ST always needs
to use the TP1010 test probe. International standard IEC 61010-1:2001-02 sets out general
safety requirements for electrical equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use.
