4.1 General information

Mount the module on a level surface with at least 2 screws.

Use washers for all fastening methods as per DIN 125.
The module has a ground connection with an M4 thread to dissipate
interference currents and for EMC immunity.

Connect the module with a low-impedance connection with the reference
ground.
 When using a grounded mounting surface, you can make the
connection directly via the fixing screws; this does not apply for lateral
connection.
 In case of a non-grounded mounting surface, or lateral connection,
use a ground strap or a suitable PE conductor. To do this, use an M4
screw to connect the ground strap or the PE line to the ground point
and if possible locate a washer and a toothed lock washer below the
fixing screw.
