If other symbols than those shown in Figure
5.7.6 or 5.7.7 are displayed on the LCD, the
socket is not correctly connected or the test
lead connections are incorrect. Please refer to
section 6.0 on page 31 for the explanation to
the individual errors.
Briefly press the ”Start/On" key (22), the test is
started. During the running test the message
'Test...' (11) is displayed, please refer to Figure
5.7.8.

After approx. 4 seconds the contact voltage and
trip time test is completed and the instrument
then displays the test result. The instrument
Telaris 0100-ELECTROcheck works with a limit
value of 25 V for the contact voltage and 300 ms
for the trip time. The contact voltage and trip time
determined are checked to see if they meet the
limit values and are directly displayed as result
(10) or (6), together with the
symbol (14).
As additional reference a green LED is illuminat-
ed behind the LCD to indicate that the test has
been completed successfully, the red LED indi-
cates an unsuccessful test procedure.
