Printer operation
Control panel
You can control the basic paper feed functions on the printer with the button
on the control panel. The LEDs will help you to monitor the printer status.
POWER
The POWER LED lights up whenever the printer is switched
on.
ERROR
This LED indicates a malfunction.
PAPER OUT
This LED indicates that the roll of paper is running out. Put in a new roll of
paper so that the printer can continue printing.
When this LED flashes, it indicates standby status during the self-test
printout or during the execution of a macro if the execute macro command
is used.
FEED button
This button can be deactivated with the ESC c 5 command.
Press the FEED button once to advance the paper by one line. You can also
press and hold the FEED button down to keep advancing the paper.

Fitting the paper roll holder
1. Detach the paper roll holder.
2. Open the printer cover and attach the paper roll holder by pressing both
fittings into the holes, as shown in the diagram below.
