Nozzle replacement procedure
Take extra care during this
procedure. This is handling a hot
part. Therefore, only handle hot
parts with the appropriate tools!
Protective work aids - leather gloves
- are recommended.
Nozzle temperature setting
The "
EXTRUDE1
" button
switches to "
BED
" and
vice versa when pressed.
Set this so that the
"
EXTRUDE1
" button
remains at the bottom
left
Set the temperature
with the "
+
" and "
-
"
buttons
This menu is for heating
both the pad and the
nozzle.

1.
Remove FAN2 ventilator, nozzle blower and silicone cover
(assembly see p.6)
2.
Set the temperature to 240°C (see procedure below)
3.
Wait for the desired temperature to be reached and
continue by releasing the nozzle
4.
Hold the aluminium cube against rotation with a 20mm
wrench and loosen the nozzle with a 7mm wrench.
5.
Screw on the new nozzle and tighten it in the same manner
(all at a temperat
ure of 240°C)
- tighten with care so the
heatbreak does not twist
6.
After tightening the nozzle, turn nozzle heating off (see the
procedure below)
7.
After the nozzle has cooled down, replace the silicone
cover, install the nozzle blower and ventilator.
