Restarting the printer
–
RESET
You will need to restart the printer either due to an emergency stop, or if the printer stops for
another reason and requires a restart. Usually thermal protection, e.g., when you press a cold steel
plate on a pad that has just been heated and sudden temperature fluctuations occur.
5.3
Turning the printer off
Here the touch screen works as a
separate device that sends
commands to the printer. For this
reason, it also has its reset button
on the back of the panel and restarts
separately. For example,
the button
only restarts the display
if it stops
responding, etc.
This can occur if the SD card cannot
be read (damaged, incorrect file
system).
In case of error detection
–
thermal
protection, restarts the entire printer using
the main switch
–
turn off / on
with a
distance of about 2 s between turning off
and turning on again
There is no need to prepare the printer separately for
shutdown.
However, if the nozzle has been heated to a temperature
above 50°C, leave the printer on at least until the temperature
drops to that value.
Then you can safely turn the printer off with the main power
switch.
