Scene setup - Open Collector setup

To use scene setup the BeoSystem 4 must be set in Quick Start mode, that is periods where the product will switch On within seconds, and is 
consequently not in Standby mode. 
Quick-Start Timers are set as follows: press 

MENU

POWER SAVING 

> 

STANDBY

 > 

QUICK-START TIMERS

 and set the start time, stop time and 

days of week as desired.

The BeoSystem 4 has 4 so called Open Collectors that can be used for Scene setup, e.g. related to a home cinema where it is desired to control 
e.g. setting of lighting, curtains, projector screen and if relevant controlling a projector lift.
An open collector can be used for either of the following:

-  The function controlled by the open collector is determined by two timers deciding when the functionality is activated, respectively de-activated.
-  It is possible to dedicate an open collector to control a lift, moving or lifting the TV up from e.g. a console or a closet, thus hiding the TV when not 

in use.

-  Possibility of assigning an open collector to control a motorised Cinemasope lens, which is used in front of a projector and activated by either of 

the two Cinemascope formats.

Setting up e.g. for Home Cinema Scene

-  Enter the Customer Service menu by pressing 

MENU

SETUP

 and then press 

RED

 and within 3 seconds press the

OPEN COLLECTOR SETUP

It can now be decided if the Open Collector chosen should be used with a Control Timer, Lift or Cinemascope.
