4.3.3.3 Error Byte

System error:

These bits remain set even if the status is no longer present. They can be reset using the control bit Reset
Warning .
NOTE
If the Ready bit is not set (binary "0") the error bits Input Data Error , Report Error and Trigger Overflow
are automatically set to binary "0" and are no longer changed. Those errors are accordingly reset by a
change to configuration mode and are not reported while in in configuration mode. However, in case of
a fatal system error, the error bit
System Error is set despite ready being binary "0".
In contrast, the PLC is responsible for a permanent reset of the error bit Result Data Error by setting the
Reset Error Bit . The Result Data Error is only temporarily set to binary "0" as long as Ready is binary
"0".

