7.4 System commands
Different commands are implemented in the BMP that can
be reached via parameter System Command on index 2,
subindex 0 . Once a system command is transmitted to the
BMP, the command triggers the desired action, provided
that this action is permitted in the current application state.
Command Name Description
0x01 (1) ParamUploadStart Starts parameter upload.
0x02 (2) ParamUploadEnd Ends parameter upload.
0x03 (3) ParamDownloadStart Starts parameter download.
0x04 (4) ParamDownloadEnd Ends parameter download.
0x05 (5) ParamDownloadStore Completes the configuration and starts the data storage.
0x41 (65) SP1 Single Value Teach Saves the currently measured position as Setpoint 1 .
0x42 (66) SP2 Single Value Teach Saves the currently measured position as Setpoint 2 .
0x4E (78) Teach Reset Deletes the SP1 and SP2 values of all SSCs.
0x80 (128) Device Reset Re-initializes all device components.
0x82 (130) Restore Factory Settings Resets all configurations to the factory setting.
0xA5 (165) Reset Maintenance Resets all operating parameters.
0xE0 (224) Teach Preset Calculates and saves the PDV offset, sets the current output value to the preset
value.
0xE1 (225) Teach Measurement
Range Lower Limit
Teaches in the current position as a lower limit value of the measuring range.
0xE2 (226) Teach Measurement
Range Upper Limit
Teaches in the current position as an upper limit value of the measuring range.
