13.1. DISPOSAL OF OLD EQUIPMENT ACCORDING TO WEEE
Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)
This Act sets out requirements for electrical and electronic equipment according to the
2002/96/EG directive issued by the European Parliament and the European Council of 2005-
05-03. Its main purpose is to prevent waste from electrical and electronic equipment and to
promote reuse, recycling, and other forms of recovery to reduce both the volume of waste
for disposal and the inclusion in waste of harmful substances from electrical and electronic
equipment.
Consequently, corresponding products from E.G.S. srl will be marked with the symbol be-
low:
For detailed information on professional disposal of disused old devices, please contact your
dealer or E.G.S. srl subsidiary in your country.

Marked equipment must not be brought to local waste disposal centers.
