NOTE
If the unit is not to be operated for longer periods:
•
Turn off the rear AC On/Off switch.
•
Unplug the mains connecting cable.
•
Clean the scanner.
•
Cover the scanner with a cloth to prevent the accumulation of dust inside
8.2. SETTING OPERATIONS
8.2.1. RESET TRAY POSITION
Follow the below steps:
1. Double click on the B9 Scan icon in the desktop .
2. Click on Action menu -> Scanner -> Reset tray position or directly double click on icon
.
3. Wait until a dialog box confirms the end of the process.
In a few seconds the plate will start to rotate and tilt. It will stop automatically after com-
pleting a predetermined series of rotations, after which it will be aligned. For a more detailed

Reset tray position in the B9 Scan User's Guide.
NOTE
•
The Reset tray position command has to be used every time the scanner stops unexpect-
edly, or the base plate is not horizontal.
