5.3.3 Output 4…20mA

Note 1: The pulse output and the output 4...20 mA is available only in loop powered mode in converters 
battery version.

    

5.3.4 MODBUS RS485 interface

The MODBUS RS485 interface is available between the terminals 13 - 14 - 15 which are positioned in the 
converter board. (Fig. 66).

The communication interface RS485 is used in combination with MCE-link software or with other 
computer systems compatible with the MODBUS RTU standard; for further information, see the 
MODBUS address manual.

Loop powered

The receiver 4…20mA connected to the instrument is loop powered, 
which feeds by itself the current in loop.
