Services Overview
The table below provides an overview of the information and services
provided by each button on this page
Creating and
Editing Profiles
Follow the instructions below to edit the existing profiles or create
new profiles for specific document types such as invoices, mailings etc.
Click
to create a copy of an existing profile. You can edit the
settings to create a new profile based on existing settings.
Button
Description
Profile New>>
Allows an administrator to create a new profile. See Creating new
profiles below.
PDF Options>>
Enables the user to insert the document in the same orientation as
when copying on a digital copier i.e. long-edge first.
Profile Defaults>>
Allows the administrator to set the default paper size to be used for
all profiles using the default.
Image
enhancement>>
The image enhancement options will be available,
if supported by
the connected scanner device
. Image enhancement is used to cre-
ate a profile to capture text on poor quality originals or to capture
text on a dark background.
Restore Predefined
Profiles
The AXIS 7000 includes a number of predefined general purpose
profiles. Clicking this button restores the predefined profiles. See
Predefined Profiles below for details.
Note: all user-defined profiles are lost if you restore the predefined
profiles. This does not apply to Default Paper SIze which must be set
manually from admin | Profiles.
