Front Panel Control - Switching
The AC-MX-88 can be switched from the front panel by first pressing the desired OUTPUT (bottom row) but -
ton first, then by pressing the desired INPUT button (top row).
1. Press the OUTPUT button (1 through 8) on the bottom row that corresponds with the OUTPUT (Dis-
play, or Sink Device) you would like to send to a source.
2. Once pressed, the front panel display will change to the SWITCH menu showing the current IN/OUT
routes. Press the corresponding OUTPUT button (top row) to set.
Front Panel Control - Scaling
The AC-MX-88 has scalers built into every output. The HDMI Ports can be DOWN-SCALED. The scalers are
set on the OUTPUT side of the switch and each can have separate settings.

4K-420: Takes 4K YUV 4:4:4 signal (when Video Clock is 500MHz or higher) and converts to 4K 4:2:0
·
4K-HD: Down-scales any 4K signal to 2K (1080P)
·
AUTO: Automatically sets the scaler based of the sync devices EDID information
·
BYPASS: No scaling applied
