Chapter 4: Hardware Assembly
Make sure you have already determined your desired module arrangement (see “Module Layout” on page 10).
Assembling your S4 is simple and involves the following steps:
• Installing the Frame
• Positioning Cables
• Connecting and Installing Modules
• Installing Fill Panels, Compression Panels, and T-Strips
• Confirming Hardware Installation
• Updating Software
Important: Installing and Handling Modules
When installing the Master Module or any module into a frame, lower them gently into position. DO NOT DROP into position!
If necessary when installing the Master Module, tilt the Touchscreen to its full upright position and lock it in place by tightening
the thumbscrew on its stand so that you can more easily hold onto the back while slowly lowering it into position as shown below.
