Mount the throttle servo in the
floor of the engine box. If you
wish to use a servo to control
your choke, you can mount it
similarly. Use 2 pieces of 1/16”
ply as doublers for the screws to
have some meat on both ser-
vos.

appropriately to drop in your servo.

The pros is that it give an added
measure of safety (extra kill method)
and is convenient. The cons is that it
adds a little extra weight and may
slightly effect performance. Also a
little more battery drain. A mechani-
cal choke is another option and is pic-
tured.
The bellcrank and hardware for a
mechanical choke hookup is not pro-
vided but can be purchased inexpen-
sively at your local hobby shop.
Position the bell-crank so that the
pushrod exits the fuse about ¾” in
front of the landing gear notch. If you
use a canister muffler, this entire
linkage will have to be repositioned.
