Adding input/output modules
See Fig. 13
Please note the following if extending the valve system by
an I/O module:
1.
Remove the left side cover from the bus coupler or from the
last I/O module of the valve system (3 hexagon socket-head
screws, DIN 912 M4, wrench width 3).

CAUTION

Danger of injury from electric shocks.

Make sure the relevant system component is not under
voltage or pressure before electrically connecting
modules to the valve terminal.

A maximum of 12 I/O modules can be mounted on one
valve system. Observe the current load!
System without a power module:
O
The maximum permissible current load to the bus coupler's
US1 and US2 for the inputs and outputs must be observed.
System with a power module:
O
The input modules should preferentially be mounted on
the bus coupler for EMC reasons.
The maximum number of I/O modules that are lined up
directly on the left of the bus coupler depends on the
maximum permissible current load on US1 and US2 on
the bus coupler for inputs and outputs.
