CH Proportional Gain
allows the cascade response to be adjusted for a central heating call. CH
Proportional Gain has the greatest influence when the system temperature is far away from the
setpoint
.
Press the
LEFT
or
RIGHT
buttons to adjust the CH Proportional Gain then press the
OK
button
to store the setting.
•
Increase CH Proportional Gain
- The Cascade System will reach setpoint faster, but overshooting the setpoint may occur.
- To reach the setpoint faster, increase the CH Proportional Gain value by 2. Perform Cascade
Autodetection and initiate a central heating call. Observe the cascade response and make
further adjustments if necessary..
•
Decrease CH Proportional Gain
- The Cascade System will take longer to reach the setpoint, but setpoint overshooting is
minimized.
- If the setpoint is reached too quickly, decrease the CH Proportional Gain value by 2. Perform
Cascade Autodetection and initiate a central heating call. Observe the cascade response
and make further adjustments if necessary
Default: 7
Please consult ACV’s technical Support before making any adjustments. Improper
adjustment of CH Proportional Gain could lead to temperature fluctuations and
erratic cascade operation.
