16 Installing the S6200, S6500, and S6800 Conferencing Server
Mounting Options
The S6200 Application Server requires an IT style rack (front/rear mount). The CMS-1000 and
CMS-6000 can mount in either an IT style rack, or a telco style rack (center mount).
The system fits standard 19” racks. The Mounting flanges attached to the side of the individual
chassis (except S6200 Application Server) can be moved to several positions and reversed
when necessary.so that the equipment can be used in IT style (front/rear mount) or Telco style
(center mount) racks.

The S6200 chassis mounts in 1U (1.75” or 44 mm) and is 27" (686 mm) deep.

The CMS-1000 chassis mounts in 1U (1.75” or 44 mm) and is 15.6" (397mm) deep.
●
The CMS-6000 shelf mounts in 13 RU (22.75” or 578 mm) and is 11.5” (292 mm) deep.
Power Options
The S6200 Application Server is available in an AC powered version only. The CMS-1000
Media Server is available in AC powered and DC powered versions. The CMS-6000 Media
Server is available in an DC powered version only.
For AC powered systems, an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is recommended to prevent
system shutdown and loss of data during power interruptions.
All components have available redundant (AC or DC) power supplies.
