Release Notes for Avaya Scopia® XT Series

What’s New | 64



Local Mute Status correctly displayed by XT when participating to an Equinox meeting
and communicated to other participants.



Added support for Sony cameras SRG 120 DH and 300. (also in 8.3.5)



Added White Balance Mode choice “Indoor 6500K” for Flex Camera of Avaya XT4300. It
can be used in rooms with no windows and only LED lights if needed to improve camera
color rendering. (also in 8.3.5)



In this release a presentation can be received also when joining a remote meeting
through NAT/Firewall even if not registered to a gatekeeper (requires PathFinder aligned
with this Solution version).



In this release HD input on XTE is disabled by default



This release supports the new XTE240 ViewSonic VA2465SMH monitor (also in 8.3.6)



In this release the HD2 monitor license is enabled by default in XT4300 (also in 8.3.6)



In this release the 1080p license is enabled by default in XT IPO



Added Serbia, Thailand and Indonesia in the listed countries for Localization.



This release optimizes the fan control algorithm according to the different adopted
models.



The Monitor Resolution “Auto” choice is now available even if the 1080p license is not
enabled



Camera

drivers are now named with generic “XTSeries” prefix



A High temperature alarm is shown on the Web and XT GUI when the internal codec
temperature is above an alert level, set to 10% less of shutdown temperature.



This release was certified as HDMI compliant also for XT7000 Series (ConfirmationID#
2016PRESTO0083)



Added support for Asus VP247HA monitor



Self-view dimension has been slightly reduced to better fit in the Continuous Presence of
Equinox Media Server and Elite MCU.
