Show Remote Name: Yes/No*
It is possible to remove the name visualization just for the current call using the C/del key on the
remote control without changing the settings.
Please note that the participant name is always displayed in the same position respect to the
graphical menu and does not follow the position of the video of the participant. It could also
overlap the participant name displayed in the received video when you connect to an Equinox or
embedded XT MCU in a SIP call.
Multi-Stream Switching Video (Beta only)
Avaya Multi-Stream Switching (MSS) video solution utilizes the advance switched video capabilities
in Avaya Aura Media Server 9.0.x (AMS) to distribute multiple video streams to each MSS aware
participant.
The MSS v1 is implemented by XT as beta feature in this release and it involves these products in
Avaya Equinox Solution 9.0: XT Series endpoints, Avaya Software Clients, Avaya AURA, Equinox
Management and AMS (Avaya Media Server).
Equinox 9.0 is the first release where MSSv1 can be evaluated (with beta quality) as part of a
complete conferencing solution side by side with the legacy transcoding conferencing.
