8. Create two ranges using the middle eyedropper button.
Using the
button, place the preview area in the central part of the images
shown in the figure below. Then choose the
Fit Preview
command in the
View
menu. The preview area will be shown with the maximum possible magnification
level.
Click the button in the
Colors
box and specify a point in the middle of the top of
the circle (1 in the figure below). Then specify a point on the edge of the circle
(2 in the figure below).

9. Use the procedure described in step 5 to preview the result of the operation.
10. When you are satisfied with the preview binarization results, run the procedure
clicking the
Apply
button.
As a result of binarization a new layer named “Rivers” is created, where the
monochrome image MAP2_2 is placed.
11. Close the
Binarization
dialog box by clicking the
Close
button.
Saving “Rivers” layer separate
raster file
1. Turn off the visibility of the layers “0” and “Isolines” using the list in the
AutoCAD toolbar.
Now there is only one available image in the drawing, and we do not have to
select an image to save.
2. Choose
Save As
in
rFile
menu. In the dialog box specify a name and a type of
the raster file, for example “RIVERS” and “*.TIF”. Choose a drive and directory
to save the file. Click the
Save
button.
